Noni Karayanni holds a degree from the Law School of the University of Athens.  She has also attended a post-graduate course on political communication at the University of Paris I-Sorbonne.  She has been a journalist since 1987.  Her first job was at “To Vima” newspaper.  From February 1988 until 2006 she worked at “Eleftheros Typos” newspaper.  In 2006 she became editor in chief at the political department of ALPHA TV channel.  She has worked as a political correspondent at ERT state broadcaster (1993-1997).  Since 1998 she has been working at “Athina 984” radio station, first as a political correspondent and later as a radio producer.  Since 2011, she presents the political radio show “Athens Today” at Athina 984 radio station. From October 2014 onwards, she is also the General Manager of the historic municipal radio station of the city of Athens.  She is married and has a son
