Dr. Yannis El Doukas
Yannis El Doukas holds a PhD in the Political Economy of the Reform of the Common Agricultural Policy from the University of Athens. He received his BA in Economics from the University of Athens, his MA in International Development and Finance from Leicester University and his MSc in International Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business. His teaching experience includes courses on Agricultural Economics (Athens University of Economics and Business), International Economics (National School of Public Administration), Economics and the European Union (Deree College). He is participating in several projects within the framework of the European and International Political Economy with focus on the Agricultural sector and the budget of the European Union. Additionally, he is a member of the Editorial Board of the scientific review “Region & Periphery”.
Finally, he has worked as coordinator of several European programs and has served as special adviser to the Minister for Rural Development and Food.
